CAMUS, Christophe

For several years, he has been conducting researches on architects and on their relationships with various commissioners. This led him to emphasise the social representations of this architects, of their conceptual imaginary world, their professional identities and their "communicatonal" abilities (C. Camus, Lecture sociologique de l’architecture décrite, L’Harmattan, Paris, 1996). A socio-semiological approach is put forward, as well as in the analysis of madiated architecture as in an observation work conducted of an architecture agency, or in inquiry of relaisations.

His research thermatics are :

- Professional identities and abilities of architects.
- Architecture mediatisation logics.
- Architecture projects and objects.
- Architecture iconic and textual construction.
