His research activities revolve mainly around issues of heritage - both tangible and intangible – in contemporary societies. This research direction integrates social mutations and their objectivation in the process of patrimonialization, which leads to sociological questioning and analysis of the urban spaces as the places where “social domination” forms are expressed and crystalized. Through this lens, he studies “Urban Domination” and its social and spatial consequences.
